On the home screen, you\u2019ll see a camera icon (for Android) or a square (for Apple). Tap on it to activate the scanner. (Make sure Leaphy has access to your camera when using the app.)<\/p>

Scan the bar code (free delivery medicines)\u00a0 or the Metrix code (medicines on prescription) on the package.<\/p>

To manually search for a leaflet, look for the magnifying glass icon on the home page. Tap on it to go to the search page. Type in the name or the first few characters of the medicine and tap enter.<\/p>

To\u00a0 search a leaflet by symtoms, look for the magnifying glass icon on the home page. Tap on it to go to the search page. Tap on symtome. Type in the name of symtome like Fever. Tap enter.<\/p>

You will see a list of medicines matching your search criteria. These are all the leaflets wher the defined symtom appears in the chapter indication. Tap on the desired medicine to access the leaflet.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The leaflets are displayed according to the language setting of your smartphone: Dutch, French, or German. If your language setting is different, the leaflets will default be displayed in French.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You can store a leaflet in one of the libraries. When you find the leaflet, click on the book icon at the top right and add it by clicking on the “+” sign.<\/p>

You can create up to three libraries, each capable of storing a maximum of 20 leaflets. For example, you can have one library for yourself, one for your partner, and another for your children.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The first time you store a leaflet in a library, Leaphy will suggest a default library named “Library 1.” Store the leaflet here.<\/p>

On the home page, click on the settings icon at the top right of your screen. Here, you can rename, save, or remove a library.<\/p>

When storing the next leaflet, you will have the option to create a new library. You can have up to three libraries, each capable of containing a maximum of 20 leaflets.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

To remove a leaflet from a library, go to the home page and select the library. Then, tap and hold on the leaflet image. A screen will pop up asking you to confirm or to cancel the deletion.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

No, when a leaflet is updated, the changes are immediately visible in Leaphy, except for the GTIN data that is related to your personal package. If this medication is empty, you should delete the leaflet and perform a new scan so the Gtin data of the new package are updated as well.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

FMD data, which includes the expiry date of your medicine, comes from the matrix code on your package when scanned. Only reimbursed medicines contain this data. Over-the-counter medicines have a bar code that does not include this information. Additionally, when you perform a manual search, the FMD section will not appear for this reason.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

There might be instances where a leaflet does not appear in the Leaphy app. While we strive to include all medicines, new medicines may not be visible immediately as this is an ongoing process. Please note that Leaphy only contains leaflets for medicines, not for para pharmacy or cosmetic products available at the pharmacy.<\/p>

The leaflet data come from the governmental organization “FAGG – AFMPS” in Belgium, which provides all leaflets in PDF format. Leaphy converts this data into an electronic format according to the directives of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and does not change any content or structure. We continuously update our database. The price and reimbursement information comes from the SamV2 database.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

A medicin can be ditributed in parallel by another company or can be imporated from another EU country. It is the same procuct but passing another distribution channel. The packaging and leaflet are the same but the price can be lower as the original product.
